As this group grows, we seek highly professional Inside Sales Account Managers determined to help us drive our business to the next level.
Description:
Identify and consult on technology solutions to earn new customers, in the commercial sector; acquire and retain accounts by building a trusted advisor status with key decision makers; cummunicate strong value propositions, deliver professional proposals, adapt to customer requirements and improve customer success toward core business objectives. This position will be an Inside position and will require excellent telephone prospecting skills, customer service skills and the ability to achieve quota.
Responsibilities
- Develop and submits to management an annual sales business plan, including revenue and profit goals, targeted accounts, marketing strategies and other financial data as required and updates this plan quarterly.
- Reviews each month’s performance and revises goals accordingly.
- Gains a specified number of new accounts each month by effective telemarketing.
- Achieves forty (40) plus customer contacts per day.
- Develops and tracks opportunities as designated by management.
- Contributes to outside Account Managers success through appointment selling and follow up.
- Contribute to ESI’s growth through presenting ideas/concepts to your immediate supervisors about marketing programs, sales programs, customers, product line enhancements, new products, new services, and new partnerships.
- Works with other divisions to participate in all cross-selling opportunities and to maximize selling potential within the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of three years of progressive sales experience in IT solutions preferred.
- Specific experience selling Telephony, Unified Communications and Storage solutions to commercial customers is preferred but not required.
- Competent with operational requirements such as forecasting, business planning, prospecting and managing vendor field relationships.
- Self-directed, adaptable and positive.
